Kat McNamara shines (literally) in a reflective sequined crop top and matching skirt. The sexy siren posted a pic of herself in the ornately decorated ensemble to her Instagram earlier today with the punny caption “Fibonacci Sequins…” The caption is a play on the Fibonacci sequence, a mathematical concept involving a series of numbers where the next number is always the sum of the two previous numbers added together.

Funny, talented, and absolutely gorgeous, is there anything the 27-year-old blonde bombshell can’t do?

Well…yes, unfortunately. McNamara has (so far) been unable to make an Urban Legend legacy sequel/reboot a reality. In an interview with Collider earlier this week, Kat McNamara was asked if the long-gestating horror project was ever happening. The Maze Runner star reluctantly admitted that, as of right now, the movie is in Hollywood limbo.

Kat expressed a lot of regrets over the lost film, mentioning that several friends of hers had been cast and called the part “The role of a lifetime.” McNamara explained how she was cast just prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 across the nation and called the movie a “casualty” of the pandemic. The actress said that while it becomes increasingly unlikely that the movie will ever get made, she would still love to be involved should the project ever get resurrected.

In a bout of further bad news for the actress, it was announced earlier this month that Kat McNamara’s recent Walker spin-off, Walker: Independence, has been canceled by the CW network. The series, a period drama set in the late 1800s, ran for one season and was generally well-liked by audiences and critics. Independence currently has a 71% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and an audience score of 93%.

According to Kat, the first season of Walker: Independence “barely hit the tip of the iceberg” as far as its characters and stories. While the CW may have no more use for the period Western, there’s always a chance that the show’s creators can get another network (or streaming platform) to pick up the series, something Kat McNamara and her fellow castmates are praying for. McNamara specifically stated that she would be willing to sacrifice her left foot if such a deal could be reached.

Even without Urban Legend and Walker: Independence, Kat McNamara has plenty to keep her busy. Next year Kat will appear opposite Yellowstone‘s Ian Bohen in the action thriller Air Force One Down. The plot of the James Bamford-directed film is being kept under wraps, but writer-producer Steven Paul has described the film as a new twist on the President-in-peril genre. The movie also stars Halloween Kills star Anthony Michael Hall as well as Orange is the New Black‘s Dascha Polanco.

Fans who are jonesing for a Kat fix and can’t wait until next year can see McNamara right now in the Charlie Day-directed Fool’s Paradise. The comedy is Day’s directorial debut and stars several of his Always Sunny castmates as well as Hollywood legends John Malkovich and the late Ray Liotta, among others.

And, of course, the actress is always active on Instagram. Kat McNamara frequently posts steamy selfies on the social media platform like the one above, guaranteed to get your heart racing and your blood pumping.
