Kat McNamara Is A Sexy Cowgirl In Revealing Ensemble

Action heroine Kat McNamara is always ready to take our breath away with new looks both behind the scenes of her projects and in her personal life. Over the weekend, the Shadowhunters star shared a little Sunday Funday with her fans in an Instagram post that you can see below. Posing next to the cacti-covered floor of the desert, McNamara went full cowgirl in a shot that sees her dressed like an influencer taking on the West.
In the image, Kat McNamara kneels on the sandy ground while wearing thigh-high laced-up stilettos and a white, almost macrame dress over a black undergarment. Over the top of her revealing white throw, the Walker: Independence star tossed on a black blazer with a cowboy hat, pulling it all together. In the background, cacti dot the landscape with a Joshua Tree just off to the right, mountains off to the left, and a gorgeous blue sky with colorful clouds that you could only dream of seeing in the American South West.
This weekend’s shot was just the latest in a colorful lineup of pictures the performer has been sharing on her social media pages in recent days. Receiving love in her comments section, friends and fans of Kat McNamara flooded in with positive feedback for her latest desert-inspired look. Included in the outpour of kind reactions are martial arts expert and Black Widow and The Woman King star Shaina West, TV correspondent Tommy DiDario, and celebrity hairstylist Matt Fugate.
While she’s appeared in a slew of projects over the years, audiences can currently catch Kat McNamara taking on the outlaws of the old West in the Walker prequel series Walker: Independence. Transporting audiences back to the late 1800s, the series follows Walker’s ancestor Abby Walker (McNamara), as she makes her way from Boston to the rough-and-tough West after her husband was brutally murdered right in front of her. While on a quest for vengeance and the hope of a new life, Abby meets a fellow lost soul and lone wolf, Hoyt Rawlins (Matt Barr), with the duo joining forces and riding into the town of Independence, Texas, for a fresh start.
The series was picked up by The CW last year and serves as a prequel for the Jared Padalecki-led Walker. The title marks the second project kicked off by a Supernatural alum to make it onto the network in the past year, with fellow star Jensen Ackles backing Supernatural’s own prequel series, The Winchesters. With shakeups at The CW over the last several months, neither show has had a definite renewal for a second season, leaving Kat McNamara and the rest of her co-stars up in the air on if their stories will continue.
Prior to her current role on Walker: Independence, Kat McNamara previously starred as Clary Fray on the supernatural series Shadowhunters and also held down the role of Mia Smoak in the superhero series Arrow which would kick off The CW’s massively successful Arrowverse. Crossing over to the big screen, McNamara will soon be spotted in Charlie Day’s (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) satirical comedy feature Fool’s Paradise, where she’ll star alongside a stacked cast including Charlie Day, Ray Liotta, Kate Beckinsale, Adrien Brody, and Edie Falco.
