Johnny Depp Has Joined A Massively Popular Social Media Platform
Johnny Depp has one his defamation trial against Amber Heard, and now the actor has reemerged in the public eye by joining the most popular social media app.
Johnny Depp seems to be enjoying his landmark success in winning his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. On top of the man staying in the UK as part of Jeff Beck’s tour, he has now joined the most popular social media platform. Yes, Depp is now on TikTok. The New York Post reported on the actor’s new profile just last night, and at the time of their writing, he had already amassed over 200,000 followers. Now, at the time of this writing, the account has exploded with over 3.9 million followers in less than a day of being created. He also posted his first video, thanking his droves of fans, and showing off some of his live performances with Beck. You can see the video below:

The sounds of reggae fill the video, which is a song tagged on the video by Stranger, called “Love Joys.” Honestly, though the video is short, it does show a lot of the life that Johnny Depp is currently living. It’s always interesting to see behind-the-scenes photos or videos from a performer. Depp is shown typing on a typewriter, on stage with Jeff Beck, and basically leaving out his rockstar and movie star life. He also shows off some of the times in which he was pulling into the courthouse and the droves of fans with signs out showing their support of the actor.
TikTok is one of the biggest social media platforms currently, mostly because the younger generation has latched on to it. There are tons of small videos that have made people famous just by enacting some sort of dance or challenge. We are not saying Johnny Depp is going to be attempting any of those, but it seems that he might be showing fans a bit more about his life outside of when he is behind a camera. Well, for a movie that is. Being behind a camera is how TikTok works in the first place. It’s going to be interesting to see where the actor takes his social media journey from here on out. He is clearly wanting to return to the public eye after he was finally cleared of the wild accusations presented about him in court.
For now, Johnny Depp is likely going to be taking in the limelight from his victory in court, and it could mean we might see the man rightfully return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Though he claimed that he would never, his tune might change along with Disney.
