Johnny Depp is certainly enjoying his landmark victory in court, as he joined Jeff Beck on stage in the UK for some performances during the musician’s tour. In fact, he had been there before the verdict was read, probably to blow off some steam from the unnerving and stressful past six weeks which saw the man having to unveil some of his most personal details during his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. Now, Depp and Beck have released a song with one another, which is a single for an upcoming collaboration album called, 18. You can see the video below:

Based on Johnny Depp traveling to be part of Jeff Beck’s last tour, it stands to reason that the pair had been long working on this material with one another. The song is quite beautiful, and it is a homage to Hedy Lamarr, who was an actress and inventor. This isn’t the first time that Depp has joined rock icons. He was part of a music supergroup called Hollywood Vampires, which was made up of Depp, Joe Perry from Aerosmith, and long-time shock rocker, Alice Cooper. They released two albums with one another, the last being Rise in 2019. Now Depp and Jeff Beck have created their own smaller rock supergroup to provide the above song and more.

Johnny Depp began his rise to superstardom when he began as a musician, this was before he made his feature film debut in The Nightmare on Elm Street. From there, he would go on to become arguably one of the biggest movie stars in the world. He was a longtime collaborator with Tim Burton and has appeared in many blockbuster films, including his iconic portrayal as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. With the trial now being over, we might be seeing Depp take on a more active role in the musical side of his career.

Johnny Depp had claimed that he no longer had an interest in returning to Disney to reprise the role of Captain Jack Sparrow while in court. That statement could have been because it didn’t seem that Disney offered Depp any support when he had begun his quest for the truth against the claims that ex-wife Amber Heard had levied against him. However, Disney and his tune could change now that they are actively working on a new Pirates reboot. The producer of the series, Jerry Bruckheimer, had openly supported Depp through this entire process. Now he can likely offer a deal to the man, now that his trouble is officially over. However, the actor might want to lean more heavily into music for the time being.

Wherever his life takes him, Johnny Depp is enjoying his journey. The man has been so elated from his lawsuit win that there are rumors speculating he and his legal team could drop the damages that Amber Heard must pay, should she abandon her appeal and accept the court’s decision. For now, Depp fans can be happy the man is free from the nightmare of the courtroom and free to make beautiful music like the above song. Check it out.
