If you thought you’d seen the end of the conflict between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, think again. This disaster had been going on for years now and there’s seemingly no end in sight when it comes to more revelations, disagreements, and lawsuits. In that way, we might almost be ramping things up. And recently, even more information and disclosures came to light about what went on behind the scenes in this “relationship” and just how off the rails it really was at the peak of its crazy. The New York Post recently reported on filings from the lawsuit that were made public which, among other things, highlight text conversations between Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson as they discussed the whole situation.

These Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson text messages were originally part of Amber Heard’s defense team’s plan to be admitted as evidence during the trial. Over the weekend, documents related to the lawsuit were unsealed and painted a picture of both Depp and Heard’s respective sides trying to get as much into evidence as possible. The conversations between Depp and Manson (real name Brian Warner) talk about the problems they are having with their current relationships (this is trying to put it normally) and how Manson might have needed help from Depp.

One of them from Marilyn Manson says, “ got an amber 2.0” and then, “Lindsay just puled an amber on me…please delete”. Johnny Depp apparently responds to this message saying, “I been reading A LOT of material on that and sociopathic behavior…it is fucking real my brother!! My ex-c—t is goddamn TEXTBOOK!!!”

And this isn’t the only conversation the two have about their “love lives”. Marilyn Manson later texted Johnny Depp saying, “I got a serious police amber type scenarios with L’s family. I’m fucking stressing. I don’t know if you are back but I need asylum somewhere because I think the cops might be headed my way.” In this one, it appears he is referencing or alluding to an incident between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp in May 2016, in which the police were called to their residence following an argument between the two.

These text messages ultimately weren’t admitted during the trial for evidence though Amber Heard’s team was no doubt trying to get them in for a variety of reasons. For starters, they don’t paint a flatting picture of Johnny Depp. But also, it would have been a chance to discuss that Marilyn Manson has faced abuse allegations of his own. He was facing four civil lawsuits from women claiming abuse following allegations made by ex-fiance Evan Rachel Wood that Manson had abused her during their time together.

It’s unclear if these now-unsealed messages between Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson will have any long-lasting effect or maintain in the public eye. Amber Heard had attempted to have the original verdict thrown out of court to go back to trial, but that gambit wasn’t successful. We are sure to continue hearing about this case for years to come.
