On January 16, Vincent Briatore posted a video to YouTube that has since amassed 2.8 million views. According to Radar Online, Jim Carrey’s lawyers have sent a cease and desist letter to the YouTuber, asking him to take down the video over controversial information revealed in the clip. The video alleges that Jim Carrey visited late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on his private island and now the actor is looking to sue over it, claiming he never met the notorious predator.

The controversial YouTube video released on Vincent Briatore’s channel is titled “Jeffrey Epstein’s Island Flight Logs Finally Released: What does this Mean?” In the five-minute clip, Briatore listens to an unidentified video reading out the names of celebrities who allegedly spent time flying on Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet. The video also shows photos of many of the named celebrities but offers no evidence of the claims.

Vincent notes that even though there were about 25 names on the list, Jim Carrey was the only one to speak out against the allegation, claiming he never knew Jeffrey Epstein. The Dumb and Dumber actor’s attorney Julianne Heitzer sent out a scathing letter over the accusations. The letter says the contents of the YouTube video were creating a “false impression” of Jim Carrey and that they “intentionally mislead the public.”

Vincent Briatore was given 48 hours to take down the video in the cease and desist letter. However, the YouTuber is not willing to go down without a fight and is planning on keeping the video up as long as possible. He has added a disclosure to the video stating that Jim Carrey has contacted him over the allegations and claimed the star never met Jeffrey Epstein.

Jeffrey Epstein was found unconscious in his prison cell in July 2019. He died from his injuries that are suspected to be the result of an attempted suicide. At the time, Epstein was awaiting trial for sex trafficking with a long list of allegations against him.

The 2020 Netflix documentary mini-series Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich was an eye-opening account of many of the allegations against Epstein.

The wealthy financier is known for sexually trafficking dozens of underage girls. He made his home on a small island dubbed Little St. James although known by locals as Pedophile Island. There, Epstein had the perfect hideaway for trafficking women and children.

The private jet, whose flight log was reported on in Vincent Briatore’s video, often referred to as Lolita Express, was used to shuttle girls and pedophiles to his island home. Over the years, numerous high-profile celebrities and politicians have been named as spending time with the pedophile on his private island.

Jim Carrey is just another name on the list of people who have been accused of spending time with Jeffrey Epstein on the island. While at this time we can’t know for certain what Carrey’s relationship with the infamous pedophile is, he does not have a past that is clean of controversy.

Jim Carrey had a tumultuous time with his late ex-girlfriend, Cathriona White. During their relationship, White claimed that she often felt scared of the actor and worried that he would hurt her. She noted how Jim Carrey would use her for sex, lie to her, and emotionally abuse her.

Jim Carrey was taken to trial for wrongful death over her suicide in 2015. The case was later withdrawn by the plaintiffs in 2018.
