At 52 years old and after decades in the spotlight, Jennifer Lopez seems to be about as willing to slow down as a runaway meteor. Thankfully, the singer and actress loves to post images and videos to social media, and this past weekend was thankfully no exception. Lopez posted a video from an exciting stage performance while wearing a barely there bodysuit, and it’s the kind of thing that makes you realize what a lucky guy Ben Affleck is.

The video shows Jennifer Lopez in what is no doubt a sold out arena concert, dancing like her life depends on it and seeming to love it. Surrounded by background dancers in white-and-black costumes, JLo‘s bodysuit leaves little to the imagination and who cares? Let the imagination find its own videos. You can watch the sexy performance below.

Drawing over 2 million likes in about 24 hours, the video is understandably making its rounds throughout the web. Jennifer Lopez captions the video with “Es sábado y el cuerpo lo sabe” or “It’s Saturday and the body knows it.” If Saturday made us all look like that—well. That would be kind of a weird Saturday night. Just nothing but crowds of JLos. There’s a scene kind of like that in Being John Malkovich.

Speaking of movies, Jennifer Lopez has a new one out. Bucking the trends of big budget superhero movies and other franchise genre fare, JLo made the romantic comedy Marry Me with another rom-com regular, Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers). Lopez plays Kat, a pop star who is about to marry her fiance Bastian (Maluma) in front of a worldwide audience when the tabloids let the cat out of the bag that Bastian has been making time with Kat’s assistant Tyra (Katrina Cunningham). Rather than marry Bastian or cancel the event, Kat, naturally, marries a random guy in the audience — Charlie Gilbert (Wilson) — who’s holding a sign with the name of her hit single, “Marry Me.” Haven’t seen the flick, but we’re going to guess along the way they discover something good might really exist between them.

Marry Me (2022)

Marry Me hasn’t exactly won over the critics, whose aggregate judgments of the film have given it a 59% score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, fans have apparently been loving the music. Jennifer Lopez made the soundtrack with costar Maluma, marking JLo’s first full-length studio album since 2014’s A.K.A.

And it isn’t just in the music side of her world that Jennifer Lopez is kicking things back into high gear. Marry Me was JLo’s first movie role since 2019’s Hustlers. Meanwhile, Marry Me is the first of at least three movies Lopez will star in this year. In June, she’ll appear opposite Josh Duhamel (Transformers) in the rom-com action flick Shotgun Wedding. Lopez and Duhamel play a couple on a destination wedding who get taken hostage by hijackers. It doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but JLo will also appear as an assassin sometime this year in the Netflix action film The Mother.
