Half of the fun of Coachella is seeing everyone out in their festival attire, and many celebrities like Emma Roberts sported their best fits. One celebrity who didn’t have to attend Coachella to stun fans with their Coachella outfit was Scream 6 star, Jenna Ortega. According to a recent Instagram post, Ortega skipped the lines and tents of the Coachella grass in favor of her own backyard, but still managed to showcase a stellar fit.

On a recent trip to her childhood home of Indio, California, Jenna Ortega donned an outfit that could be described as Coachella meets Wednesday Addams. Equal parts witchy, indy sleaze, festival attire, and all parts Jenna Ortega, the look is cool and effortless.

In her post, Jenna Ortega rocks a black sheer lace top embossed with gold metallic stars. She pairs it with Black Adidas, a matching black bandana, and torn cut-off jean shorts. The actress didn’t forget to accessorize and wears a couple of wristbands, a silver ring, and circular maroon-tinted sunglasses framed by her curtain bangs.

Jenna Ortega is Gen Z’s newest and most prominent scream queen. She became the new lead girl of the Scream franchise after Neve Campbell, first appearing in the 2022 reboot of the slasher franchise titled Scream.

In Scream, Jenna Ortega played Tara Carpenter who is a teenager living in Woodsboro, California. When a new set of killers don the Ghostface mask twenty-five years after the initial streak of brutal murders that shocked the quiet town, they begin targeting Tara and her circle of friends. Earlier this year, Ortega reprised her role in Scream 6, which saw Tara and her sister attending college in New York before being targeted in a new string of Ghostface killings.

Although young, Jenna Ortega has been in the business for a number of years. One of her earliest roles was on the comedy-drama Jane the Virgin, before starring as Harley Diaz in Disney’s Stuck in the Middle, and landing a recurring role in Netflix’s thriller You

Many fans know Jenna Ortega for her portrayal of Wednesday Addams of Addams Family notoriety in the Netflix horror comedy series Wednesday. The show became a hit, and Ortega’s portrayal of the stoic character was critically and commercially lauded, boosting her to Gen-Z icon status. She received nominations at both the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she presented with Parks & Recreation and Millenial soul sister Aubrey Plaza.

Ortega will be starring in several upcoming projects, including alongside Tommy Lee Jones in the thriller Finestkind, the dark coming-of-age drama Miller’s Girl, the romantic drama Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, A24’s Alba, and an untitled Trey Edward Shults film alongside Barry Keoghan and pop singer The Weeknd. She is also rumored to be connected to Beetlejuice 2, and many fans have shipped her to join the Marvel Universe as the X-Men character Rogue.

Jenna Ortega has admitted to having a preference for horror films and adopting some of Wednesday Addam’s dark, gothic style. In contrast with her often black, often funereal wardrobe, Jenna Ortega has a bright future in Hollywood.
