Heather Graham, best known for her sex appeal, has never been one to shy away from the camera. Largely coined an iconic vixen for her portrayals of characters like Felicity Shagwell in Austin Powers, or the ride or die pornstar called Rollergirl from Boogie Nights, Graham is comfortable in her skin. And while many of those memorable roles were over two decades ago, at 51-years-old, Heather looks to be happy, healthy, and as beautiful as ever. So much so that she took the opportunity to post a stunning photo (fully clothed this time) for her Instagram followers.

Sharing the photo with her near half a million followers earlier this month, it appears Heather Graham rang in the New Year with a tropical vacation. Joining the slew of celebrities also getting some rest at the dawn of the New Year, Graham shared a sun-kissed selfie of herself. Standing on the edge of the golden sand, the crystalline water and a tiki-looking beach hut act as a backdrop for the actress, even though we know she doesn’t need any background assistance to melt our hearts. In typical beach fashion, Graham rocked a staple black bikini. With her beach waved locks flowing in her face, she accessorized her beach look with large tortuous shell sunglasses.
Never one to conceal her sex appeal, the post garnered Heather Graham plenty of adoration from fans and celebrities alike. A couple of viewers even threw in a Rollergirl reference, which we are sure didn’t bother the starlet one bit. At 51-years-old, Heather Graham has spent the last four decades in Hollywood. With at least 62 films under her belt, she is most memorable for being cast in sexual roles. While her parts in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Boogie Nights might be her most acclaimed roles, her typecasting doesn’t stop there. Graham also portrayed prostitute Mary Kelly alongside Johnny Depp in From Hell. For the film About Cherry, Heather played an adult film director. And in the beloved Hangover trilogy, Graham lent her sex appeal to the stripper Jade in both The Hangover and The Hangover, Part III.
Never one to back down on her beliefs and stances, Heather Graham has been very open about her thoughts on playing such roles in Hollywood. Candid about sexual liberation and female empowerment, Graham delivered Half Magic, her directorial debut in 2018. A semiautobiographical story about bad relationships, good friendships, and female empowerment the film pulls directly from experiences Graham has had over the course of more than 30 years in the industry. Speaking with Newsweek about the film, Graham said, “I do find sexuality interesting. I always have. I’ve played a prostitute and a stripper and a porn star. This time, I wrote a story about my relationship with sex.”
As for growing up in Hollywood as a young beautiful actress, Heather Graham has had her fair share of sexist exploitations. Over the past decade as the dark Hollywood story surrounding Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein, unraveled, Graham spoke out about her own experience with the director. In a guest column, she wrote for Variety, Heather Graham described the encounter. “There was a pile of scripts sitting on his desk,” she wrote. “‘I want to put you in one of my movies,’ he said and offered to let me choose which one I liked best. Later in the conversation, he mentioned that he had an agreement with his wife. He could sleep with whomever he wanted when he was out of town…There was no explicit mention that to star in one of those films I had to sleep with him, but the subtext was there.” Luckily for the star, she never showed up and subsequently was never offered a role in any Weinstein-produced films.
Keeping busy in the industry, Heather Graham’s New Year’s holiday comes not long after the release of her latest film The Last Son. Alongside Machine Gun Kelly, Sam Worthington, and Thomas Jane, Graham plays Anna, the mother of MGK’s sharp-shooting outlaw Cal. After the starlet gets some much-needed rest and relaxation, her next jaunt on film will be in the upcoming rom-com, The Other Zoey.
