See Gal Gadot Looking Soaked And Flirty

Gal Gadot’s future as the DC Universe’s Wonder Woman seems somewhat up in the air, but it is beyond denying that the actress is still looking incredible. Gadot recently posted a two-set carousel of pictures on social media of herself showing off soaking wet hair and an enigmatically warm look in her eyes, and even after seeing the former model in literally hundreds of images and hours of film, it is still shocking how good she looks.

Gal Gadot posted these images on her insanely popular Instagram account, which currently has nearly 92 million followers (which is almost 10 million more people than the entire population of Germany). The black and white pictures are credited as being the work of Israeli photographer Tal Abudi, but any reasonable person will concede that the incredible presence and looks of Gal Gadot herself are doing the majority of the heavy lifting here.

In the photos, Gal Gadot’s raven hair is cut to shoulder length and hangs in wet strands across her face, with her long bangs drifting seductively over her eyes. In both pictures, the once and maybe future Wonder Woman is wearing a high-collared white shirt, open at the throat. In the first photo, Gal Gadot is staring back at the photographer with the slightest hint of a flirty smile on her face, but the second photo has her straight-up beaming, seemingly caught mid-laugh.

Gal Gadot first became familiar to American audiences from her role in the Fast and Furious franchise, in which she starred as Gisele Yashar in four installments of the series before being killed off in 2015’s Furious 7. While that would be the end of her character in many franchises, one should never think a character is actually really, really dead when she could be brought back as an amnesiac, evil clone, or possibly vision. We’re not going to be at all surprised if she shows up in Fast X in some way, is all we’re saying.

However, Gal Gadot truly rocketed to fame as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice alongside Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill as the former and latter, respectively. Though the Zack Snyder film was met with mixed reviews at the time (as were most of Snyder’s contributions to Warner Bros. early attempts to combat Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe), the following Wonder Woman solo film directed by Patty Jenkins swiftly became an enormous critical and commercial blockbuster.

The subsequent Wonder Woman 1984 was incredibly anticipated, but it had the misfortune to be released at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, which hindered its theatrical run (which was further confused by its then-novel simultaneous release on HBO Max). Since then, Wonder Woman 3 has been shrouded in mystery, with almost no details released about how the trilogy of Gal Gadot films might conclude.

Now, it seems that incoming DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran are developing their own 10-year plan for the future of the DCU and Patty Jenkins is not part of it. We will just have to wait and see what happens with Wonder Woman 3, but at least we have Gal Gadot’s Instagram in the meantime.
