Gal Gadot has become a Hollywood star on the back of her head-turning debut in the Fast & Furious franchise followed by bringing the Amazonian Wonder Woman to life. The photos shared by the Israeli star demonstrate her beauty, with those long, athletic legs, and also her quirky personality. The first photo, as usual with Gadot, is the only normal looking one as after that is one with her tongue sticking out and another showing a big stretch.
In all three, the tiny shorts highlight why Gadot was a fantastic choice to play Princess Diana in the DC Extended Universe.
With the oversized green shirt and her usual quirky sense of humor, Gal Gadot delighted her over 90 million Instagram followers. Fans of the actress frequently get to see red carpet photos, set photos, and plenty of gorgeous shots of Gadot lounging around in casual wear or fitness attire. The lifelong model and mother of three knows how to work a camera, on-stage and off.
The impact Gal Gadot has had on films over the last decade makes it easy to forget that her international film debut only came in 2009 with Fast & Furious, the 4th film in the Vin Diesel-led franchise. Reprising her role as Gisele Yashar over the next two films, Gadot impressed both audiences and her fellow stars by doing some of her own stunt work. As her next major role as Wonder Woman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice would show, Gadot’s amazingly muscular body is not just for show.
In fact, while portraying Wonder Woman for DC, Gadot received extensive training in Kung-fu, kickboxing, capoeira, and Brazilian ju-jitsu. Her initial appearance as Wonder Woman was the first time that the classic character had been portrayed on film, following the successful television series starring Lynda Carter in the 70’s. Moviegoers raved about Gadot’s portrayal of Diana, with most of the buzz around the film saying that she was the best part of the movie.
Gal Gadot portrayed Wonder Woman in three more films: her two solo films and Justice League. On the back of the Wonder Woman solo movie and Justice League, 2018 saw the stunning actress named as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World while Forbes placed her as the 10th highest-paid actress in the world. Two years later, in 2020, Forbes placed Gadot even higher, moving her up to the spot of third-highest paid actress in the world with annual earnings over $30 million.
Despite the success with action films and superhero movies, Gal Gadot’s latest roles have been more subdued. In 2021 the Israeli superstar starred alongside Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne “The Rock ” Johnson in the Netflix original Red Notice. Gadot followed that appearance with Death on the Nile, an adaptation of the classic Agatha Christie mystery.
With the future of the DC Extended Universe up in the air, it is unknown when or where Wonder Woman will be making her next appearance. Gadot herself will be working with Disney as the Evil Queen in a live-action adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
