Apparently, she is Wonder Woman. Or, in Gal Gadot’s case, she was a bit tipsy. Either way you slice it (pun intended), the tipsy Wonder Woman shared a harrowing story during her recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that could induce shivers.

As she began her story, Gal Gadot confessed that the incident began innocently enough with some early day drinking. “The early days of pandemic when you start drinking mimosas or sangria or whatever at 11 a.m., so I did that, and then I decided I’m gonna make a cabbage salad because that’s what one whats to do, so I started to chop the thing, and I chopped the top of my finger,” she explained to Jimmy. Gadot wasn’t live in-studio for her interview.

Her husband, real estate developer Yaron Varsano, came to her aid quickly but he was a little less heroic than Gadot’s movie character. “Yaron went to the chopping board and he held the finger and he got so disgusted that he threw it into the garbage disposal,” she continued. “Then we were both like, ‘What are we doing?!’ It was a mess. We were a mess.” A tipsy mess, for sure. But Gadot knew what she had to do. “Then I stopped cooking and stopped drinking.”

She was fortunate that her bloody mishap didn’t require a trip to the ER. So just how much did Diana Prince slice off? According to Gal Gadot, not too much. Regardless, it doesn’t sound like either of the two tipsy adults stuck a hand down the garbage disposal to retrieve the sliced-off tissue.

“No, because it was in the garbage disposal, so there was nothing to sew,” she told Jimmy. “It’s too much information, I apologize.” No amount of sword training could prepare Gal Gadot for mimosas and cutlery. It doesn’t appear to be a good combination for the actress. What makes it worse, says Gadot, is that even now she still doesn’t have full feeling in her fingertip. Her entire Jimmy Kimmel Live! interview can be seen below.

So, a sliced-off fingertip won’t slow her down but what about a third pregnancy. Yes, she and Yaron are expecting their third daughter. The couple has a nine-year-old and a four-year-old but even with a third on the way doesn’t appear to be slowing down Gal Gadot much, if at all.

Gadot recently appeared in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, though her role was shot a few years back. She has Death on the Nile up next, whose release has been COVID-delayed multiple times. Netflix’s Red Notice will follow, which stars Gal Gadot along with Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds, and has also been dealing with COVID delays, first having a June 2020 release date, then November 2020, and finally Netflix says it will arrive sometime in 2021.

Gal Gadot is not stopping there. The A-lister, who recently formed a production company, Pilot Wave with husband Yaron, has many more films and projects lined up. Through their Pilot Wave shingle, she and Yaron will be producing an upcoming Apple TV+ limited series about the life of actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr, in which Gadot will also play Lamarr. Pilot Wave will also co-produce with Warner Bros. Irena Sendler, a historical thriller that follows the life of the WWII humanitarian, which Gadot will also play.

If you thought the busy Gal Gadot was done, you were sorely mistaken. The much sought-after actress also has lined up for herself Cleopatra, taking on the role as the queen of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt. Of course, there was the recently announced Wonder Woman 3 in which Gadot will reteam with Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins. One can only hope it will fare better than the critically panned Wonder Woman 1984.

There is also the will he or won’t he Justice League 2 rumor surrounding Zack Snyder. If it were to happen, as Snyder revealed that the intent all along was for Justice League to be a trilogy, one can expect Gal Gadot to return one more time as Wonder Woman. Snyder and WarnerMedia, though, have shot down the idea of completing the final two parts.

Not only is Gal Gadot doing all this while expecting her third daughter, but she is also doing it after the dramatic severing (okay, maybe just the tip) of her finger. Now that’s a Wonder Woman.
