From Marvel’s multiverse to the 19th century, there’s no time period or universe that’s too out there for Florence Pugh. And although she may not be starring in a Disney classic any time soon, the actress dressed up like her favorite Disney villain for Halloween. In an Instagram post, the Don’t Worry Darling star donned the black and white hair, dalmatian styled dress, red lips, and attitude of one miss Cruella de Vil and painted the town red – er spotted – with a group of friends.

The photos reveal Florence Pugh having a great time celebrating the spooky holiday with some close pals – all of whom took their costume game very seriously. With an aperol spritz in one hand and a cigarette holder in the other, Pugh danced the night away. As written in her caption, the Midsommar actress and her entourage moved and grooved to the sounds of Justin Timberlake, with plenty of lipstick reapplications in between songs.

It’s been a great year for celebrities to let loose and show off their best Halloween looks. Since COVID took away the celebrations for many over the last few years, it seems as though everyone jumped on the opportunity to gather in crowded areas and don their most clever and crafty costumes. Thanks to Instagram, not only were we able to check out Florence Pugh’s big night out, but several other celebs let us in on their festivities.

The Boys stars Jack Quaid and Karl Urban donned sinister costumes as Jason Vorhees and A Clockwork Orange’s Alex, respectively, while Dove Cameron paid homage to the Tron franchise in a vibrantly colorful and low-cut get up. Megan Fox shared her Pamela Anderson look while Sofia Vergara took a break from the celebrations this year, but took Instagram followers on a trip down memory lane by way of costumes from Halloweens of years past. While many outfits, like Florence Pugh’s, brought a laugh, others shocked including Heidi Klum who went all in as a terrifying – but meme worthy – worm.

All in all, it seemed like the weekend was a great time for many of the busy bodies in Hollywood to let their hair down, put on a mask or a wig, and dive into roles they’ve never had the chance to play. For Florence Pugh, the night comes during the middle of an intensely packed schedule that has her set to appear in a slew of new projects. As mentioned above, fans will soon see the Lady Macbeth actress in Netflix’s period piece drama, The Wonder, which hits the streamer in just two weeks.

Currently in post-production, Florence Pugh will appear in the feature-length return of everyone’s favorite animated cat in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish as well as Zach Braff’s drama A Good Person and Christopher Nolan’s historical biographical film Oppenheimer. On the filming side of things, Pugh is currently working on the sequel to Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. Set to drop next year, the film is already one of the most anticipated features to land in 2023.

Florence Pugh in Black Widow

Back in the world of Marvel, Florence Pugh is set to reprise her role as highly skilled assassin Yelena Belova, a part she first originated in Black Widow and then again in the Disney+ and Marvel series Hawkeye. As of right now, the actress is slated to don the costume of the trained killer in both Thunderbolts and another yet-to-be-announced project. While Emma Stone may have originated the live-action role of Cruella de Vil, she better watch her back as Pugh is dressed to kill in her Halloween look.
