Fall may be just around the corner, but Elizabeth Hurley is clearly still in full-on summer mode. She took to Instagram to post a quick video in a white bikini, some Elton John-style sunglasses, and some Clinique lip gloss. Of course, Hurley scored the video with the new Britney Spears and Elton John collaboration “Hold Me Closer” to make sure the vibe is just right. Check out the post below:
Elizabeth Hurley has definitely hit Instagram followers with plenty of swimwear posts this year to promote her Elizabeth Hurley Beach brand. While the time for bikinis and beachside attire is coming to an end, Hurley is no doubt making sure the good weather feeling is still alive and well on social media. And while many of us can throw on some Elton John-style shades and post a video scored by the singer’s latest song, very few of us can hang out on a yacht with the iconic musician himself. But that’s just what Hurley did earlier this week while she was in the South of France, making the post even more apropos.
It’s been a while since we’ve been able to see Elizabeth Hurley in a movie or TV project. Her last film role was back in 2021 with Father Christmas is Back. We were all set to see her leading the series Welcome to Georgia, but unfortunately CBS saw the pilot and decided to pass on it. While it seems unlikely that we’ll see Welcome to Georgia, there’s always the possibility that it could get picked up in the future. Fortunately, Hurley has another project on the way with Christmas in the Caribbean.
Christmas in the Caribbean will star Elizabeth Hurley as a bride who is left at the altar. Instead of letting her honeymoon go to waste, she decides to take her bridesmaids to the islands instead. The film is directed by Philippe Martinez with a script from Nathalie Cox, who also stars alongside Hurley. Caroline Quentin, Edoardo Costa, Hadar Cats, Downtown Julie Brown, and Rafael Martinez also star. Christmas in the Caribbean is in post-production but doesn’t have a release date yet. If it does happen to release in winter, there’s no doubt that it will inspire some audience members to take a winter island vacation of their own, so maybe they’ll need Hurley’s beachwear in winter after all.
We’re also waiting to find out when Elizabeth Hurley’s other big upcoming movie The Piper will get an official release date. The Piper stars Hurley as Liz, a mother who moves to a town called Hamelin with her daughter Amy. However, a dark secret in Liz’s past is uncovered by the spirit of the Pied Piper, who steals away children from those who have gotten away with a crime. The dark fantasy will also star Mia Jenkins as Amy, with Jack Stewart, Robert Daws, Arben Bajraktaraj, Anthony Waller, Alma Rix, and Ieva Aleksandrova-Eklone also starring. Anthony Waller directs and writes the screenplay with a story by Duncan Kennedy.
