See Elizabeth Hurley In A Sexy Flower Dress

Elizabeth Hurley can’t seem to do anything without looking absolutely scrumptious and we’re all richer for it. The Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery star is attending the Glorious Goodwood racing event in Qatar this week, and she shared a video of herself at the popular event on Instagram. Judging by what we can see in the video, it’s a good week to have Goodwood in your schedule.
The Bedazzled star posted the video on Wednesday, starting off with a shot of Elizabeth Hurley’s gorgeous smile. In between shots of racers and the crowds, we see Hurley in a boldly colored dress with a plunging neckline. Accompanying the video is “Sway (Quien Sera)” by Perez Prado & Rosemary Clooney. Technically named Qatar Goodwood Festival, but more commonly known as Glorious Goodwood, the event Elizabeth Hurley is attending is a five day affair established over 200 years ago. Goodwood is considered one of the bigger events of British racing, with the competition enjoying a singular atmosphere and the track itself proving a more complex challenge for its racers.
Along with being a model and an actress, Elizabeth Hurley is also a business woman with her own eponymous line of swimwear. Wearing that many hats could account for why we haven’t seen Hurley on the screen as often as we used to. She played the Marvel villain Morgan le Fay in Runaways and before that played Queen Helena on E!’s soap The Royals. But since then her appearances have been relatively scarce. Hurley made a pilot called Welcome to Georgia for CBS, but the network passed on it.
Hopefully sometime in the not too distant future we’ll see Elizabeth Hurley in the romantic fantasy horror feature The Piper. Hurley plays American schoolteacher Liz Haines, who begins experiencing dark and troubling visions after she and her daughter move to Hamelin, Germany. Anthony Waller (An American Werewolf in Paris) stars in and directs the film, but it isn’t clear when we’ll get to see it. The film wrapped production in late 2020, with no premiere date yet released. Cyprus Times reports The Piper is expected to hit theaters some time this year, but without naming a specific date.
In the nineties, Elizabeth Hurley first became well known in the public for the company she kept. She was dating Hugh Grant, just as the actor’s name went big stateside after his appearance in Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hurley even stayed with Grant after the English actor made headlines for being arrested in 1995 for hiring a sex worker, though they would split five years later. Last year of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast (via The Daily Mail), Grant said he did it because he was in a bad mood after seeing a screening of one of his movies. Considering the woman whose company he risked, that had to be a really bad mood.
