See Daniela Melchior In A Tight Nude Swimsuit

Daniela Melchior of The Suicide Squad fame just posted a gorgeous shot of herself to Instagram in a nude-toned swimsuit, which you can see above. The caption reads “Gotta find new hobbies” followed by a string of emojis signifying different sports and activities. The caption apparently refers to the second image in the reel, which is a screenshot that reads, “You’re not unhappy, you’re just bored.”
Well considering what’s in the not-too-distant future for Daniela Melchior, it’s tough to imagine that she’s feeling bored. After her first major English-speaking role as Ratcatcher 2 in last year’s The Suicide Squad, the Portugese actress seems to climbing higher and higher on Hollywood’s career ladder. While she will apparently only have a minor role in her reunion with writer/director James Gunn on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, she was also tapped to join the “family” of the upcoming Fast X.
The month after audiences watched her help save the world in The Suicide Squad, Daniela Melchior was announced to be attached to the upcoming Henry Golding (Snake Eyes) led spy thriller Assassin Club. Expected to be released by the end of this year, Assassin Club finds Golding’s character–a contract killer–hired to take out 6 targets who have also been hired to kill him and each other. Melchior will play Sophie, Golding’s girlfriend, who he’s fighting to keep alive.
Daniela Melchior will also be joined in Assassin Club by Sam Neill of Jurassic Park fame and Noomi Rapace (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). It’s directed by Camille Delamarre (The Transporter Refueled) from a script by Thomas Dunn (Triggered). According to Deadline, filming in Italy wrapped last September.
In December, Melchior will join a magnificent ensemble cast for Marlowe—Liam Neeson’s turn as Philip Marlowe, the fictional detective detective created by novelist Raymond Chandler. Directed by Neil Jordan (Michael Collins), Marlowe will find Daniela Melchior working alongside Diane Kruger (Inglourious Basterds), Jessica Lange (Tootsie), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost), Colm Meaney (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Alan Cumming (GoldenEye), and Danny Huston (The Aviator).
Daniela Melchior is also going to be a part of the cast of one of the most unexpected remakes announced in the last few years. Melchior will play Ellie–the love interest of the hero Dalton–in the upcoming remake of 1989’s Road House. Jake Gyllenhaal (Ambulance) is in the lead role, as a legendary bouncer who gets more than he bargained for when takes over security for a new establishment.
While English-speaking audiences haven’t gotten to see a lot of Daniela Melchior just yet, her success in The Suicide Squad speaks volumes. In an ensemble cast, Melchior played the only protagonist who not only didn’t exist in the source material, but actually succeeded the role from another character (the original Ratcatcher, played by Taika Waititi in a flashback). Her character wound up winning fans over, and if a sequel is forthcoming, you can bet she’ll be aboard.
