See Dakota Johnson In A Totally See-Through Black Jumpsuit

Dakota Johnson is scandalizing in this see-through outfit at the Met Gala.

Dakota Johnson, the star known for her role in the Fifty Shades series and soon-to-be Madame Web for Sony’s SpiderVerse-adjacent movie, is certainly no stranger to showing skin. While the star bared more in the Fifty Shades movies, it’s her red carpet look at the Met Gala that’s really got everyone in her web this year.

For this Gala, the theme was “In America: An Anthology of Fashion” this year with many stars showing up in their best tribute to the USA. Dakota Johnson herself made a head-spinning entrance wearing a skin-tight, see-through body suit with fringes of jewels hanging from head to toe. She covered this with a red robe, reportedly inspired by rock n’ roll music. The outfit left little to the imagination as Johnson flaunted for the cameras.

While no stranger to Hollywood and all the inner workings of it all, Dakota Johnson has made it known she doesn’t just want roles based on nepotism. The daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, and granddaughter of legend Tippi Hedren, Johnson has made her own way up the acting ladder in Hollywood, starting with bit parts in shows like The Office and films including 21 Jump Street before landing the major leading role in Fifty Shades of Grey.

While the trilogy of not-so-subtle smut was bemoaned on release, which is to be expected when the story started as Twilight fan-fiction, Dakota Johnson was praised as the bright spot of the film. Critics noted her quiet, yet powerful performance in the film as a standout and were affirmed when Johnson began speaking about the experience. She has frequently said that she played the character from a feminist point of view, showing women not to be afraid of who they are.

Everything leads to the moment Dakota cemented herself as an absolute queen in the mind of fans everywhere- the Ellen incident. In 2019 when being interviewed on Ellen, the host got Dakota Johnson talking about a birthday bash previously held for the star. When Ellen noted that Johnson apparently hadn’t invited her, she immediately shut the host down, saying “I’m pretty sure I did.” Usually, a comeback like that would impede a Hollywood career, but Dakota pulled off a massive win while leading to Ellen’s exodus.

Not slowing down any time soon, this outfit is just one of the latest to keep the crowds talking. Dakota Johnson is currently producing and starring as the title character in Madame Web alongside Sydney Sweeney and Adam Scott. While details of the movie are scarce, it promises to expand on Sony’s Spider-Man cinematic universe, building off the steam already built by 2022’s Morbius, for some reason.

In the meantime, Dakota Johnson will continue doing what she loves and focusing on her work. In her free time, she helps advocate with the Time’s Up movement, speaking on behalf of women in Hollywood affected by abuse and harassment, as well as other various charities. In 2017 she married Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Preferring to live a mostly quiet life away from the spotlight, Johnson is content doing what makes her happy, just happening to bring a little joy to the world at the same time.
