Christina Ricci showed up and showed out at the recent Costume Designer Guild Awards in an award-worthy look of her own. The Wednesday star took to Instagram to share the stunning red high-slit gown with gold clasps along the midriff. Check out the look below:

Christina Ricci was in attendance since the Netflix hit Wednesday was up for the Costume Designer Guild Award for Excellence in Contemporary Television. Costume designers Colleen Atwood and Mark Sutherland ended up winning the award for the episode “Wednesday’s Child is Full of Woe.” They managed to win out in a stacked category that also included nominees like Emily in Paris, Euphoria, Hacks, and The White Lotus.

Of course, Christina Ricci once played Wednesday Addams in the popular Addams Family films from the 1990s, but she has a different role in the Netflix Wednesday series. Jenna Ortega took over the Wednesday role and the series follows her as she learns to harness her powers while also attending school and attempting to solve a mystery. The series has been a smash hit for Netflix and has been renewed for a second season, so hopefully, we’ll get to see more of Ricci in the series in the near future.

Yellowjackets

We can also look forward to seeing Christina Ricci return for her other major hit series Yellowjackets, which was also renewed for a second season. Yellowjackets follows a high school girls soccer team who survive a plane crash in the Canadian wilderness, switching from the past where they were stranded and the present day. Christina Ricci plays Misty while Samantha Hanratty plays the teenage Misty.

Yellowjackets was a surprise critical hit for Showtime and the first season was nominated for seven Emmys. One of the Emmy nominations was an Oustanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series nod for Christina Ricci. The show also received nods for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series, and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Melanie Lynskey.

Along with Christina Ricci, Lynskey, and Hanratty, the series also stars Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, Sophie Nelisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Steven Kreuger, Warren Kole, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Kevin Alves, Alexa Barajas, Ella Purnell, Jane Widdop, Keeya King, and Luciano Leroux. Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson created the series. Unlike Wednesday, we actually have an official release date for Season 2 of Yellowjackets and can expect to see the premiere on March 24.

While we wait for the season premiere of Yellowjackets, you can listen to Christina Ricci’s most recent project, Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind, on Spotify. This podcast series features Ricci as the voice of Harley Quinn and Billy Magnussen as Joker, with a supporting cast that includes Stephen Root, Amy Sedaris, Elias Koteas, Andre Royo, Mary Holand, Fred Melamed, Hrishikesh Hirway, and Justin Hartley as Batman. The series follows psychologist Dr. Harleen Quinzel as she works with an Arkham Asylum inmate known as the Joker to save her ill father.
