See Christina Ricci In A Dangerously Low-Cut Dress

A Christina Ricci Fan account has posted a photo of the Addams Family star in a low-cut red dress that she wore to a Yellowjackets event earlier this year. At the August 2022 event, Ricci joined co-stars Samantha Hanratty and Melanie Lynskey to celebrate the series’ Emmy nominations.
The show, which premiered in November 2021, was nominated for seven different Emmy awards. The series itself received nods for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series, and Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.
Two Yellowjackets actresses also received nominations for their roles. Christina Ricci, who plays Misty in the show, received a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Melanie Lynskey also received a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her starring role as Shauna.
The show, which received a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes back when it was first released, is scheduled to air its second season in March 2023. It follows a group of women who were all part of the same girls’ soccer team, including Christina Ricci’s Misty. The series takes place during two time periods: first, in the 1990s, as they attempt to survive a plane crash that leaves them stranded in the Canadian wilderness for 19 months.
Then, in the present day, tracking the lives of the survivors as adults.
While Misty is not the starring role in the series, the character plays a pivotal role in helping her teammates after the plane crash. The present-day version, played by Christina Ricci, works as a nurse at a care facility and is characterized by her ruthless manipulation of others.
This isn’t the only time that Christina Ricci has worn an eye-catching dress while attending a Yellowjackets event. Later this same year, she wore a dalmatian-spotted dress to a Screen Actors’ Guild event promoting the series. The dress was said to channel the infamous Cruella Deville, though her hairstyle seemed more in line with her earlier Addams Family role of Wednesday Addams.
Alongside her performance in Yellowjackets, Christina Ricci is returning to her Addams Family roots in the Netflix series Wednesday. While she doesn’t play the role of the young Wednesday Addams (who is portrayed by Jenna Ortega), she does play the mysterious Marilyn Thornhill — the “dorm mom” who teaches botany at Nevermore Academy and who reaches out to Wednesday if she needs any support.
Ricci also recently played a small part in The Matrix Resurrections. As Thomas Anderson’s boss, Gwyn de Vere, she is only seen in a single scene, running a marketing meeting about group research and telling Anderson and his coworkers to create an unplanned sequel to a popular videogame — an ironic request, given that the meeting also mentioned that the game company was associated with the keywords “originality” and “fresh.”
Christina Ricci is also scheduled to appear in the podcast series Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind, along with the film The Dresden Sun and the animation Unplugged.
