See Christina Ricci In An Absurdly Tight Cut-Out Gown
While posing for Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan, Christina Ricci wore a tight black dress with cutouts.
Christina Ricci has shared several outtakes from her latest magazine photo shoot. Posing for Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan, the actress is seen wearing a form-fitting black gown. The sleek dress sweeps the floor with cut-out accents at the waist. The 43-year-old completed the look with long black gloves, a chunky silver necklace, and a slicked-back hairstyle.
While the black gown is stunning, other outfits in the shoot are equally unique. In the second photo, Christina Ricci wears a white suit with a black hat and gold belt buckle. She also showcases a pink dress with extra long sleeves, as well as a white gown with orange embroidery detail and silver flowers. The final outfit in the carousel is a Victorian-style gown accessorized with a black chicken and shoes.
The actress graces the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan and shares her life story with the publication. Christina Ricci also discusses beauty that is not defined by the world and how she deliberately took roles that would overwhelm previous stereotypes, the publication said in the caption. She also talked about renewed interest in Wednesday Addams after the hit Netflix series.
While she loved playing the character, Christina Ricci said it was a difficult label to shed when pursuing a theater career. “Playing any role is a compliment to any actor. But it is another thing to say goodbye to the role smoothly and establish a new image,” she told Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan. To master her craft, the actress uses each new role to expand her skills and future casting opportunities.
Christina Ricci showed off her unique fashion sense at the 25th Costume Designers Guild Awards. The Yellowjackets star wore a long-sleeved burgundy gown to the Los Angeles event. The dress featured gold bird details on the bodice and a slit which was highlighted by beautiful draping. She accessorized the look with a gold necklace and burgundy shoes.
The actress presented an award at the event, which she attended with her husband, Mark Hampton. Netflix’s popular Wednesday series was one of the night’s winners, as costume designers Colleen Atwood and Mark Sutherland were honored at the ceremony. Cate Blanchett and Angela Bassett were also present at the glamorous ceremony.
Christina Ricci recently talked about her experience as a child star following the success of The Addams Family movie in 1992. She explained how motherhood healed her from childhood fame. She also talked about her love of fashion. “It’s an art form for me. I love seeing the collections,” she told the publication via Yahoo! Life.
However, the 43-year-old said she slowly learned to be more intelligent about her clothing investments. “I don’t buy a ton of fashion. But there are certain things that I have collected,” she admitted. But, except for her Chanel handbag collection, Christina Ricci has sold items she hasn’t used in a while.
Away from the fashion world, Christina Ricci can be seen in the second season of Yellowjackets, which will air on March 26 via Showtime.
