See Brie Larson In Only A Bra, On A Swing

Brie Larson certainly knows how to relax. What better way to unwind than sitting on a swing in the ocean next to an Academy Award-winning director? Larson took to Instagram to share this candid moment with Chloe Zhao, and it definitely looks like they’re having fun:
Brie Larson also slyly builds a little bit of hype in the caption of her Instagram post, teasing a possible collaboration between her and Zhao. Marvel fans will be very familiar with Zhao’s work as the director and writer of Eternals, so an MCU collaboration between the two could be amazing. Of course, Zhao is also known for her films Songs My Brother Taught Me, The Rider, and Nomadland which nabbed her a Best Director and Best Picture win at the Academy Awards.
If Brie Larson and Zhao didn’t end up collaborating on an MCU film, they could certainly work on an amazing indie together. With Larson’s acting chops and Zhao’s direction, the two could easily put together an Oscar-worthy effort. In the meantime, we know that Zhao is working on a sci-fi western Dracula film, so it could be a while before we see her and Larson collab.
Of course, Brie Larson is plenty busy with her MCU duties, as we’ll be seeing her return as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in The Marvels later this year. The Marvels will follow Carol, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau as they suddenly start switching places every time they use their powers. Nia DaCosta is directing, and Larson stars alongside Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon.
It seems very likely that we can also expect to see Brie Larson return as Captain Marvel in the upcoming Avengers movies Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. With Carol easily being one of the most powerful heroes in the MCU, rumors are saying that she might even become the de facto leader of the Avengers. We’ll have to wait until 2025 when Kang Dynasty hits theaters to find out.
Luckily, we don’t have to wait nearly that long to see The Marvels. We’ll get to see that film on July 28, 2023. But, we’ll get to see another Brie Larson performance before then, as she’ll be appearing in Fast X which drops on May 19.
Brie Larson is one of the newcomers to the latest film in the Fast and Furious franchise. It looks like she’ll be on the side of the good guys as they go up against Charlize Theron’s Cipher and new bad guy Dante, played by Jason Momoa. Of course, the rest of the family is along for the ride too with Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Helen Mirren, and Cardi B all returning.
Fast X is the first in a two-part finale to the franchise, so it’s possible we’ll see Brie Larson return for the next film as well. Make sure to catch it when it hits theaters this Spring. Stay tuned for more news on Larson’s latest and upcoming projects.
