Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder, but if you want to break things down to ratios then Killing Eve star Jodie Comer is the most beautiful woman in the world. At least according to an Instagram post and study conducted by cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva. The face-mapping technology he used indicated that Comer scored a 94.52% on the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty metric.

Now, is the Golden Ratio the definitive metric for defining beauty? Of course not, as it only measures proportions — taking into account face shape, eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, and jaw. Of course, symmetry is always attractive, so it’s not surprising that Jodie Comer and the other woman who made the top ten list are considered beautiful even without considering the mathematics.

Jodie Comer topped the top ten list with her 94.52%, and she was closely followed by Zendaya, Bella Hadid, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Jourdan Dunn, Kim Kardashian, Deepika Padukone, and HoYeon Jung. While Comer had the best overall score, other women scored better in certain categories. Comer had the highest percentage for nose, Bella Hadid for eyes, Zendaya for lips, Deepika Padukone for eyebrows, Bella Hadid for chin, Zendaya for forehead, and Beyonce for face shape.

It’s difficult to quantify beauty and measuring proportions to try and break down physical ‘perfection’ is obviously not going to give you definitive answers. Rather, people’s beauty is usually shown through traits other than just physical. Also, it’s not really clear what dataset this doctor is pulling from, as the list is only highlighting celebrities like Jodie Comer.

Still, it’s at least an interesting experiment, if not a largely useless one. Of course, people like Jodie Comer are beautiful, but you don’t really need an in-depth study to tell you that. On the men’s side of the coin, Dr. De Silva’s study found that Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page was the most handsome man in the world, followed by Chris Hemsworth and Michael B. Jordan.

Of course Jodie Comer is stunning, but she’s also an incredible actress. She really broke into the mainstream with the aforementioned role she had in Killing Eve, which ended in 2022. In 2021, she also had major roles in films like Free Guy, The Last Duel, and Help.

Hopefully, we should be seeing some of Jodie Comer’s work in 2023, as she currently has two movies in the post-production phases (via IMDB). Although they don’t have release dates yet, Comer will be starring in The End We Start From and The Bikeriders. She is also set to star in a new HBO series called Big Swiss.

The Bikeriders is about a Midwest motorcycle club and is written and directed by Jeff Nichols, based on a book by Danny Lyon. Along with Jodie Comer, the film stars Michael Shannon, Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Boyd Holbrook, Norman Reedus, and more. The End We Start From is directed by Mahalia Belo and is about an environmental crisis in London, which also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong, Joel Fry, Katherine Waterston, and more.
