Aubrey Plaza appeared as the cover star in a recent issue of Vanity Fair, and, needless to say, she looked stunning. The White Lotus and Parks and Recreation alum wore an all-silver two-piece outfit with a high-fashion coverup for the look. Check out her Instagram post of the cover below:

Aubrey Plaza has always been plenty fashionable, but this Vanity Fair cover is the latest in a trend of high-profile fashion moments from Plaza. Before this Vanity Fair piece, she stunned at the Met Gala with her white gown bejeweled with chains by designer Jennifer Behr. Maybe her next big fashion moment will be at the Emmys if everyone’s predictions of her being nominated for The White Lotus come true.

Aubrey Plaza had quite a busy 2022, as she not only appeared in the acclaimed HBO anthology drama The White Lotus, but she was the lead in the underrated thriller Emily the Criminal. Along with these roles, Plaza did some voice work for The Simpsons and the show Little Demon. Most recently, she starred in the Jason Statham action film Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.

As busy as Aubrey Plaza stayed in 2022, she doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. She’ll be returning to do some voice work in the Netflix Scott Pilgrim anime series, where she’ll return to the role she played in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World as Julie Powers. Fans of that underrated Edgar Wright film will be happy to learn that Plaza and the rest of the cast are all reported to be returning to voice their roles once again.

But perhaps Aubrey Plaza’s biggest role for 2023 will be her MCU debut in the Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Plaza will play opposite her Parks and Recreation co-star Kathryn Hahn, who once again returns to play the witch Agatha Harkness, who we met in WandaVision. The plot for Agatha: Coven of Chaos is being kept under wraps, but the cast also includes Patti LuPone, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Ali Ahn, Emma Caulfield Ford, Maria Dizzia, Debra Jo Rupp, Joe Locke, Brian Brightman, and Sasheer Zamata.

One of the biggest mysteries surrounding Agatha: Coven of Chaos is who exactly Aubrey Plaza will be playing in her MCU debut. The reports indicate that Plaza will be playing a pivotal role, and many think that she could actually be playing a villain in the show. There have been plenty of theories, but since they are keeping her role a secret, it does seem likely that she will be playing a well-known MCU character.

Some of the most popular theories say that Aubrey Plaza might be playing a well-known MCU villain like Mephisto, Nightmare, or even Death. If this is true, we might be seeing a lot more of Plaza in the MCU’s future. However, some of the other theories are more tame and say that she could merely just be a witch in Agatha’s coven or someone related to Agatha, like her daughter or granddaughter.

For now, we’ll just have to wait until Agatha: Coven of Chaos hits Disney+ to see who Aubrey Plaza will be playing. Provided the show isn’t delayed, we should get to find out before 2023 is over. We’ll keep you updated on this and Plaza’s other projects in the meantime.
