Her most recent film is Emily the Criminal which offers a much different look at her range, as she takes on the role of a hustler that gets in deep with the wrong people. Plaza currently holds a starring role as Harper Spiller in the new season of The White Lotus. The hit HBO series returns in October with a brand-new look at vacationers and their deep seeded issues. Before that, Plaza is set to lend her voice to the new FX adult animated comedy, Little Devil. She stars alongside Danny DeVito and his daughter, Lucy DeVito. Little Devil premieres on FX on August 25th. She switches gears for another animated feature, but one that is mostly for children called The Ark and the Aardvark, which won’t release until 2024. Plaza is also going to be leading a new series called Olga Dies Dreaming, which is based on a book of the same name. That series is set to premiere in 2023.

Emily the Criminal is currently in theaters right now. The film also boasts a 93% “certified fresh” critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes with an equally impressive 88% audience rating.
