Alexandra Daddario is always putting together fashionable looks for her Instagram feed. Her latest look features a simple, yet unique dress from Carolina Herrera. The deep blue dress makes a perfect contrast to the neutral-toned background. Check out the Instagram post below:

Alexandra Daddario is presumably still out in Louisiana shooting her next big series, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches. Daddario will be portraying a neurosurgeon who finds out she’s the heir to a witch coven. We should see that series hitting our small screens in 2023. In addition to Daddario, it stars Annabeth Gish, Erica Gimpel, Beth Grant, Jen Richards, Tongayi Chirisa, Harry Hamlin, and Eric Esteban. The show will air on AMC and will have eight episodes.

Though Alexandra Daddario has been in Hollywood for a while now, many will remember her really breaking into the scene in 2010 when she played Annabeth in Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. The movie, adapted from the YA novel of the same name, was mostly popular and fans loved her as the character they knew from the book. Now Daddario is, unfortunately, having to defend the newest actress to play Annabeth from cyberbullying.

Disney+ has an upcoming show called Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which will feature a fresh cast of faces as the books are adapted for the screen once again. Leah Jeffries is set to play the role of Annabeth Chase, and Alexandra Daddario was quick to show her support on Twitter. This post was in response to the social media backlash Jeffries received after casting. Leah Jeffries is black, and the complaints are largely about Annabeth being portrayed as white in the books. Rick Riordan, the author of the Percy Jackson novels, even had to make a blog post to address the backlash and call out the negative reactions as racist. Fortunately, Jeffries’ casting announcement has mostly been met with positive reactions, but there are always going to be some bad apples out there.

Alexandra Daddario has far moved on from her Percy Jackson days, with her most recent role being on the acclaimed HBO series The White Lotus. Daddario played Rachel Patton in the show’s first, and currently only, season. Her role was met with critical praise, with many saying she was one of the best parts of the series. While we won’t be seeing Daddario hit the small screen again until Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, we will likely get to see her on the silver screen with the upcoming film Wildflower. Wildflower is a coming-of-age film that depicts the life of a young girl who grows up with an intellectually disabled parent. In addition to Daddario, the movie also stars Kiernan Shipka, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Jean Smart, Charlie Plummer, and many more. The movie is directed by Matt Smukler who also co-wrote the script with Jana Savage.

While we might have to wait a bit to see Wildflower later this year, Alexandra Daddario is sure to keep up the entertainment on social media. If you follow her Instagram, you can get more of these fashionable looks and even some updates on her career. She stays busy in her professional life and social media presence.
