Former Canadian Defense Minister Says Aliens Would Share Advanced Tech If We’d Stop Being So Hostile

fb share tweet share

HellyerThe questions of whether we are alone in the universe is one of the biggest mysteries of existence. Certainly, the sheer size, age, and diversity of the small portions of our universe we have investigated would seem to make the existence of other intelligent species out there a virtual given, but that’s not the same thing as having proof. But there’s one chap who’s convinced that aliens are not only out there, but hidden amongst us, and that they might reveal themselves and reward us with fun party favors if only we’d stop being violent, primitive screwheads. Okay, there are actually plenty of people who believe that sort of thing — this is the internet, after all — but their resume doesn’t usually include an entry labeled “Former Canadian Defense Minister.”

The one chap who can make that claim is Paul Hellyer, who served as Canada’s Minister of National Defense during the 1960s. Such a position could, theoretically, grant him access to documents related to aliens and UFOs that us average joes and janes couldn’t get our hands on. Of he could just be bonkers. Either way, in an interview with RT’s Sophie Shevardnadze, his claims about alien visitations go beyond the general and into the specific. For instance, Hellyer claims that not only are there aliens among us, but that “with absolute certainty, four species — at least — had been visiting this planet for thousands of years.” To borrow a Pulp Fiction quote, that’s a bold statement.

fb share tweet share

Skinwalker ranch posterMove over, Area 51! Now that the obviousness of your existence has been acknowledged by the U.S. government, you’re old hat. Your conspiracy-laden little brother, Skinwalker Ranch, is on the up-and-up, and now it’s getting its first truly in-depth documentary. Well, actually, Skinwalker Ranch is a found-footage paranormal thriller, but isn’t that all documentaries are these days? No? You mean Blackfish was real? (Scream!) Anyway, we’re bringing you the Skinwalker Ranch theatrical poster, seen above, as well as the first clip that’s been released, seen below. A lot of people are going to whinge about yet another low-budget, found-footage thriller rearing its paranormal head, but I’m always partial to this sub-genre. I’m a cheap thrills sorta guy.

Area 51 Exists, Conspiracy Theorists Everywhere Rejoice

Area 51

JFK was not killed by a lone gunman. Gas and oil companies killed the electric car. The government is controlling us via HAARP’s radio waves. 9/11 was an inside job.

Conspiracy theories are pretty fun, so long as everyone takes them with a grain of salt, or better yet, as pure entertainment. But conspiracy theorists around the world are high-fiving each other and yelling “I told you so!” with the recent confirmation that Area 51 does indeed exist. Not that Google Earth couldn’t have told us that, but at least now the government acknowledges it.

A 1992 report documenting the history of U-2 spy planes has just been declassified thanks to the Freedom of Information Act invoked in 2005 by National Security Archive senior fellow Jeffrey Richelson, and affirms the location of Area 51, as well as its use as a government facility.

While the confirmed existence of the site may trigger some to buy into everyone of the theories surrounding the once-secret location, according to the report, the UFOs alleged to be associated with the facility were really U-2 planes flying at altitudes of roughly 60,000 feet. Back in the 1950s, commercial planes typically flew between 10,000-20,000 feet, while it was more common for military aircraft to fly no higher than 40,000. Thus, people didn’t expect, or even think it was possible for aircraft to fly at 60,000 feet, which, along with the difficulty in discerning objects flying so high, led to the assumption that they were extraterrestrial in origin. The report asserts that while this enabled investigators to rule out most of the UFO sightings, they were forced to bite their tongues with regards to the real cause. The report does not acknowledge the existence of aliens.

Sirius Documentary Will Autopsy An Alleged Six-Inch Alien

I know the Fox network wasn’t the first place ever to offer up false footage marketed under the guise of being “genuinely real,” but their 1995 show Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction was one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen. Even as a teenager, it really opened the door for amateur filmmakers to spout whatever nonsense they like and market it under the “documentary” category. Loose Change? Zeitgeist? Well, another “real” flick is on the way to take a shit all over your critical thinking abilities.

You’ve heard of aliens possibly hiding out in Russia, the Olympic Games, and of course in Roswell, but what about the tiny six-inch long extraterrestrial found in the Chilean desert? The specimen in question is the subject of Sirius, a crowdfunded documentary from Steven Greer, a former emergency medical physician who started The Disclosure Project in 1993, with the express intent of extracting all kinds of secret alien information from the government. Seeing as how most of us have never even heard of Greer, I guess that means The Disclosure Project has come up short.

Declassified Plans For The Air Force To Build A Flying Saucer

fb share tweet share

The US government and military have been denying the existence of UFOs — or at least ones claimed to be alien spacecraft buzzing our rural areas — for years, and rightfully so. There has been no concrete evidence that would suggest that the aliens are among us. But in a recent US Air Force declassified file, it appears the US military had one of their own in the works.

In 1956, the US Air Force contracted Avro Aircraft Limited, a Canadian company in Ontario, to build a circular vessel that would be able to take off and land vertically. The Air Force also wanted the aircraft to be able to travel speeds of Mach 4 (four times the speed of sound, about 2880 mph), travel as high as 100,000 feet, with a range of 1,000 nautical miles. The Air Force called this top-secret military project “Project 1794,” and its specifications were made known by the National Declassification Center. According to the files:

It is concluded that the stabilization and control of the aircraft in the manner proposed — the propulsive jets are used to control the aircraft — is feasible and the aircraft can be designed to have satisfactory handling through the whole flight range from ground cushion takeoff to supersonic flight at very high altitude.

Mars Draws More UFO Claims With New Curiosity Photos

fb share tweet share

Just after it landed on Mars, photos taken by Curiosity of a mysterious puff of smoke that appeared and then disappeared from the horizon caused a stir among the UFO community. NASA came out quickly enough and said that while it was a phenomenal grab by their cameras, the cloud was in all likelihood just the impact of the jettisoned sky crane system that delivered the rover to the surface of Mars. While an impacting sky crane was readily accepted as the obvious answer by just about everyone, that did not stop the efforts of some to scrutinize every photo coming back for signs of E.T. Now a video and a single frame of footage show what some claim to be Martian UFOs in action.

YouTube user StephenHannardADGUK recently posted this video of an image that he had to actively work with to bring out what looks like four strange floating objects above the surface of Mars…
