Huge news for Futurama fans. The cancelled too soon Mike Judge series may have found new life. No I'm not talking about another one of those lame, direct-to-DVD movies they've been doing. We're talking new episodes here.
Collider claims that Comedy Central has ordered 13 new episodes of the series. Now hold on, don't get too excited. We're still looking for a confirmation from official sources on this one, but if true Bender may be back on the air this year.
Futurama's last new episode, "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings" aired way back in August of 2003. Since then it's found new life on DVD and in cable re-runs, but despite a consistent outcry from fans for more, this is the first real sign of life we've seen from Futurama in six years.
