The images you’ll see after the jump all come from The Tron-A-Sutra a series of graphic, sex instructional videos in which sex position are illustrated Tron-style. That’s right, Tron-style. Why Tron-style? I have no idea. Why not? The images all lead to tons of actual videos in which you can see the Tron-like characters actually re-enacting the positions while a computerized voice explains them using such terms as “USB port”.
I’m not sure I’d ever want to meet the guy who came up with this, spent the time and money to hire actors for it, make it, create the effects for it, and actually publish it on the internet. I mean, what kind of person actually has a burning need to publish an hour or so of sex footage using mostly sexless Tron characters? But, you’re unlikely to see anything else like it anywhere else on the internet this week.
Technically I suppose all of this is Not Safe For Work, but since the Tron-characters contain no actual sex organs and all they’re really talking about USB ports, I’m labeling this mostly harmless and generally weird. Click the images after the jump to see each correspondingly creepy, Tron-A-Sutra video. read this entry »
Flynn’s Arcade opened it’s doors for a second year at the San Diego Comic Con tonight. While on the outside it looked the same, on the inside the arcade hid huge new surprises for Tron fans. Take a look inside with this video walkthrough: read this entry »

Aside from the excellent trailer which was released online minutes afterward here, nothing particularly earthshattering happened at the TRON: Legacy Comic Con panel. Last year they blew our minds with the first ever images from the film, but now we’ve seen two trailers and tons of images and it’s really just a waiting game until the movie gets released.
That said, the cast was there and any time you get a chance to hang out with Jeff Bridges, it’s worth your time. After the jump we have a gallery of more than 60 images from the Tron: Legacy panel. It’s your chance to see the Flynns in their natural habitat. Take a look and then let the waiting commence. TRON: Legacy hits theaters on December 17th. read this entry »

Tron: Legacy looks good, but what looks almost as good as the movie, are the toys. We’ve shown you some of the more high dollar toys on this site before, but Disney has unveiled their full product line of more affordable Tron: Legacy tie-in items. They’re all, fully awesome.
Check out a few images of my favorite items after the jump and get more details on the products official site.

It’s Olivia’s turn. Garret Hedlund, as the movie’s lead Sam Flynn, was the first Tron: Legacy actor to get his own poster art. Olivia’s the movie’s female lead, so now it’s her turn. I’m still holding out for a Jeff Bridges poster. Make it happen Disney.

There’s been no shortage of insanely cool posters and banners for Tron: Legacy but the one above is the first to really feature a clear shot of any of the characters faces. It’s perfect. As a follow-up, I’m hoping for one featuring Jeff Bridges. For now, enjoy looking at Garrett Hedlund, the star of Tron: Legacy.

Sure everything we’ve seen from it has looked really cool, but beyond being certain that it’ll be visually interesting, I haven’t been entirely certain that Tron: Legacy would be good. After all the original movie, much as I love it, was kind of weak on story at times and let’s face it, the guy they’ve hired to direct this new Tron has never directed a movie before. So a wait and see approach seemed prudent, at least until now. Now I’m certain: This may be one of the best movies of the year.
I’m certain because EW reports that Pixar was involved in writing the script. Specifically Brad Bird (writer of The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille) and Michael Arndt (writer of Little Miss Sunshine and Toy Story 3) were hired to beef up the existing Legacy script. Brad Bird’s involvement should be especially exciting to anyone familiar with his work. He has a long history of making everything he touches better. read this entry »

If you’re reading this site, that means we’re probably of like mind, and so like me you’ve seen the 1982 movie Tron at least a dozen times. But as it turns out, that’s not actually where Tron got its start.
The idea was invented by director Steven Lisberger as a promo for for Lisberger Studio Inc. The first ever incarnation of Tron was actually a logo full of animated figures made of light. In particular there’s a light-outlined warrior who Lisberger called “Tron”, short for “electronic”.
The promo animation has shown up online and if you’re a fan of Tron it’s a must watch. Here it is, the original Tron: read this entry »
For any geek, this is a dream come true. Now you can have all the excitement of Tron, not only in your daily life, but in your driveway. The guys of Parker Brothers Choppers are building street legal lightcycles modeled after the new bikes you’ve probably already seen in the Tron: Legacy trailer and that you’ll see tons more of in the movie. Of course there’s a catch.
They’re only building 5. To get one you’ll need a whopping $35,000 and an Ebay account, since that’s where they’re selling them.
They don’t have a picture of one actually built yet, since they’re custom built to order. But they’ve done this sort of thing before, having made life size, street legal Batpods modeled after the wickedly cool vehicle in The Dark Knight. When finished the Lightcycles should look something like this: read this entry »
