It’s been awhile since one of the major networks has done a properly cheesy, destroy the planet miniseries. They used to slam an asteroid into tNew York at least once a year when I was a kid. They’ve been lax, so ABC plans to make up for letting Earth live by smashing it with the biggest object yet: Our own moon.

HR says ABC has acquired the rights to four-hour a German miniseries called Impact. It’s described as being “about a meteor that strikes the moon and sends it on a collision course with Earth.”
