Watch John McClane Battle Aliens And Predators In This Incredible Fan Video

We just survived Christmas, and I know there are a lot of us out there who consider Die Hard to be the best holiday movie ever made. Facing off against Hans Gruber and his gang of international mercenaries is harrowing indeed, but this new video that appeared at the end of last year imagines Bruce Willis’ John McClane tangling with two even more vicious foes, Predator and the Xenomorph’s from Alien. And with no further ado, here is Die Hard: Alien vs. Predator.
If you enjoy this, you can thank the warped mind of YouTube user ChiefBrodyRules and his ingenious mash up of footage from the three venerable franchises. Thankfully, however, I didn’t notice any clips from either Live Free or Die Hard or A Good Day to Die Hard, by that point John McClane is just a damn super soldier instead of an average schmo stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Who do you think would come out on top in this three-way tussle? Chances are, it wouldn’t the lone human, but stranger things have happened. We’ve witnessed John McClane battle seemingly insurmountable odds and come out ahead before, not to mention humans have bested both Predators and Xenomorphs on more than one occasion. Ripley has taken down the armor-plated alien killing machines multiple times, and sure, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a highly skilled commando in Predator, but if Danny Glover’s harried cop can emerge victorious in Predator 2, there has to be hope for John McClane in his prime. He could at least hang around into the final act and maybe get waxed to make way for an alien on alien climactic battle. Then again, he’s smart enough that he could turn them on each other, let them do the work for him, and come in to clean up the mess when it’s all said and done.
I would sure as hell rather watch a Die Hard/Alien/Predator hybrid than that 21 Jump Street crossover with Men in Black idea that came out of one of those leaked Sony emails a while back. Who am I kidding, I would totally pay money to see this movie; I’d be the first in line at the first preview screening at midnight and be psyched about it. Hollywood has already proven that they’re totally out of fresh ideas and only want to rehash and revisit franchises that came before, so why not go this route for real? Anyone have the phone number for big time studio execs just lying around?
