The Walking Dead Infographic Illustrates The Rising Death Toll Of The Series

With season three of The Walking Dead in full swing, a handy infographic has popped up, perfectly illustrating how many zombies the cast has killed throughout two full seasons of the series. The infographic also depicts all the people who have died along the way (so it’s spoilery if you’re not caught up, obviously). Check out the infographic below, or you can click the image to see it full size.

The infographic from Virgin Media is a good supplement for anyone who has ever made a Walking Dead scorecard. It’s fun to see someone out there taking the time to add up the (dead) body count of the AMC TV series, along with the body count of every zombie mass killing, including when Rick wakes up from a coma in the series premiere, when they find Sophia in the barn, and the standoff at Hershel’s farm at the end of season two. And with any good zombie showdown, the body count is rising steadily, going from 73 kills in season one to almost double that count, 135 total kills, in season two. At this pace, there should be at least 275 kills by the end of season three.

The Walking Dead season three has started off with a bang! Rick’s group of survivalists is already coming together as a team and has shown that they are up for the challenge to fully take over the prison. With the airing of episode two of season three — “Sick” — Rick Grimes has shown his willingness to do whatever it takes to keep his group safe from zombies and other potential threats. It feels like Rick is slowly turning into someone like the Governor, so you have to wonder how far down this path Rick will go. Needless to say, more kills to come in season three!
