Star Wars Movie Poster Mash Ups, May The Fourth Be With You
Photoshop contests usually mean a few things: bad photoshop, brilliant concepts with poor execution, and occasionally a piece of work that is just cool. There’s a bunch of poster mashups with Star Wars and other movies or TV shows where you get the full mix of Photoshop goodness. The contest took place right after Star Wars day back on May the 4th, and resulted in a varied collection of work.
Even the worst PS work in this contest is better than Scarlett Johansson’s head on the Entertainment Weekly cover for The Avengers; and that’s a professional magazine which produces high level work on a weekly basis. So I have to give a pass to some guy who thought it’d be funny to make a Dude, Where’s My Car? reference and just pasted a bunch of Star Wars characters onto the poster.
