1. Look, I don’t mind not caring about grammar on internet, but it’s really hard to even figure out what the hell are you talking about.

2. There aren’t that many gay people on TV as you are saying and when they are they are rarely potrayed with respect and dignity.

3. It’s not a choice.

4. Personal life of the characters has always been part of Star Trek.

5. Star Trek is supposed to be progresive about human rights. Having gays is something writers wanted to do before, but were often forced not to.

6. Who says it should be “sang from rooftops”? Characters sexuality, when done right, shouldn’t be treated any diffrentl, then their ethnicity. They will be completely normal characters, that just happen to be gay.

A new series set a decade or so after Voyager’s return would be great! Maybe the new Enterprise could be a Carrier Class with pilots. Just don’t cast the crew so young that they have zits!
