Skyline Poster Makes It Look Like Pixar’s Lifted
Skyline is a new, low-budget alien abduction thriller slated to hit theaters this November and, no one really knows much about it. Footage was shown at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, but generated very little buzz. Still, I had no idea how seriously the movie was taking it’s alien abduction premise until I spotted this newly released teaser artwork on the film’s Facebook page:
That makes the premise pretty clear right? It’s even clearer if you head over to the movie’s official site where they have an animated version of the image in which human bodies float towards the awaiting alien craft.
Here’s the previous image released for Skyline which, strangely, offered no clue at all to the movie’s alien abduction plot:
It’s hard not to look at that teaser art though, and think of the Pixar short Lifted which, took that same premise and did something way better with it than anything Skyline likely has in store. Remember Lifted? Here’s a reminder:
