Appearances: “Mayored to the Mob” (1998)

Oddly enough, Mark Hamill is the first actor on this list who has appeared on The Simpsons both as himself and voicing other characters. All within the same episode, no less! The Man Who Was Luke Skywalker parodied his own fame by having “Mark Hamill” appear as a guest at the Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con, where he shilled for Sprint, advised Homer to “use the forks,” and sang a Jedi-fied version of “Luck Be a Lady Tonight.” Realizing that they had a ridiculously talented voice performer in the studio anyway, the Simpsons producers also had Hamill voice Homer’s bodyguard Leavelle and a dinner theater director. Honestly, they probably could have let the guy do every part. Who’d have thunk all those years ago that Luke Skywalker could deliver such a brilliant Joker performance?

Mark Hamill: Hey, thanks, everybody. You know, I’m here today as Luke Skywalker, but I’m also here to talk about Sprint. As you can see here, you stand up to save up to seventeen cents a month over the more dependable providers.

Database: Talk about Star Wars!

Homer: Shut up you stupid nerds, he’s trying to save you money on long distance calls!
