Yet another Trek alum, the last one on the list — leaving us to wonder how in the hell William Shatner hasn’t put in an appearance during the show’s 25 seasons. The episode has Homer donning a costume as the vigilante “The Pie Man” (long story) in order to take revenge on a dude who made Lisa cry. When The Pie Man’s vengeance turns toward humiliating Comic Book Guy, the chubby proto-nerd gets a pie in the face just as Trek’s Nichelle Nichols shows up for tea. Unfortunately, she doesn’t make passes at guys with pie faces, so Comic Book Guy is left shunned. But at least he has pie.
Nichelle Nichols: Listen, I said it to Shatner and I’m saying it to you. There is no way I’m going to be dating a man with pie on his face.
