Rock Em’ Sock Em’ Robots Becoming A Movie
I thought this movie was already being made with Hugh Jackman, but Pajiba says Wolfgang Peterson may be making a movie out of the classic game Rock Em’ Sock Em’ Robots.
The similarly premised Jackman movie is called Real Steel and it stars Hugh as the coach of a professional robot boxer in a future where the human element has been removed from fighting. The Wolfgang Peterson take on this very similar premise will the “human story of one robot that becomes part human, part robot.” Doesn’t that make it more Pinocchio than Rock Em’ Sock Em’ Robots?
