Revolution Pilot Is Now Available In Full Online

Revolution is one of the shows we’re most excited about here at GFR headquarters, high above you in geosynchronous orbit. NBC’s new post-apocalyptic series is set in the aftermath of a global crisis when everything electrical simply stops working. Yep, it’s pretty much the Gilligan’s Island theme song come to life: no phone, no lights, no motor cars, not a single luxury. And if I have now guaranteed that you hear that song every time you see a Revolution commercial, then my work here is done.

To welcome everyone back from the Labor Day weekend, the folks from NBC have posted the full Revolution pilot episode online for your enjoyment. We haven’t watched it yet, because we’re busy doing things that wouldn’t be possible in a world without electricity. Although “watching the Revolution pilot online” technically counts as one of those too. Whatever, here’s the pilot:

Created by Supernatural sooper-genious Eric Kripke, Revolution also has J.J. Abrams on board as an executive producer and Jon Favreau directing the pilot episode. Let’s hope that the Abrams connection results in a show more “good parts of Lost” than “every part of Alcatraz.” Revolution premieres September 17th at 10/9c on NBC.
