First Resident Evil: Retribution Trailer Imagines What Our World Will Look Like Tomorrow
The Resident Evil movies barely even qualify as a zombie franchise anymore, but they don qualify as one heck of a great guilty pleasure. I’m not sure the plot even matters actually; as long as both Alice and the Umbrella corporation are involved and going at each other’s throats in a post-apocalyptic future, rest assured that fun will follow.

If you’re wondering why the music Retribution uses is so awesomely good, it’s because they’ve borrowed the sounds of Tron: Legacy. Those tones belong to the Daft Punk masterpiece “Recognizer” and whether you’re using it on the Game Grid or while fighting zombies, that music rocks. Don’t expect it to actually be in the movie, trailers often use temp soundtracks from other films when the film they’re advertising is still in production.
