First Red Dwarf X Teaser Trailer

By now you’ve hopefully heard about Red Dwarf X, the latest resurrection of the popular sci-fi comedy series about the last man in the universe, one Dave Lister. The new series’ first ever teaser trailer is here and I have good news: They’re back.

This isn’t some ill-concieved attempt to re-invent the show like their last resurrection, the disappointing Red Dwarf: Back to Earth. This trailer makes it clear that they’re back to doing all the things we love about the show, they’re even back aboard the ship, which is where Dave and the gang really belong. Watch…

The cast may be older, but you’d never know it from this trailer. It feels like the good old days with the brilliantly hilarious, absolutely inspired Red Dwarf we all remember and love.

The trailer is the good news, the bad news is that it’s still not clear when or if Red Dwarf X will air on television anywhere outside the UK. There, however, it’s set to begin airing on Dave TV in September of this year. Make sure you’re tuned in, you smeghead.

    I have ways of watching across the pond shows. Mua-ha-ha-ha. I seriously can’t wait for this. Back to Earth had some funny scenes but as a whole, yeah, didn’t really work. This looks to be straight up episodic shows which makes the best viewing for the big red one.
