Anyone who has ever seen The Last Starfighter has almost certainly dreamed of the day when they’ll kick ass at some random arcade videogame and suddenly find themselves recruited by aliens to become a hot shot starfighter jockey. But before that can happen, you’ll have to find the right game.
Look no further. Here it is. The stand-up arcade game Alex plays at his trailer park in The Last Starfighter is called “Starfighter” and one fan has recreated a playable version of that same game, and made it available for you and me to play for free any time we want it.
