First Photo Of Vin Diesel Back As Riddick And They’ve Got The Funk

When last we left Riddick in The Chronicles of Riddick he was emperor of the known universe. So it should come as no surprise that he’s now wearing a cape.

Vin Diesel has just posted the first photo from the set of the upcoming and as of yet untitled third Riddick movie. Here he is in all his sartorial splendor…

Riddick 3 is currently filming and they’ve just added Broadway actor Nolan Funk to the cast. Already on board with Diesel are Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff and Spanish actor Jordi Molla as the film’s villain.

Though Riddick was running everything at the end of the last one, this sequel expected to have more in common with Pitch Black than Chronicles. Apparently, they’re going to find a way to get him off the throne and leave him stranded on a barren alien planet. You may have to get that cape dirty at some point, Richard.

    I enjoyed both movies. It’s an original sci-fi franchise and in these days that’s saying a lot.

    “I’m too sexy for my Script”. But seriously, I hope this movie is good and kicks ass financially. The movies do have really good elements to them, and Butcher’s Bay was an amazing video game. Good luck.

    He so needs to ditch that cape. Bad guys don’t wear capes. Besides they get in the way when you are fighting.

      when i wore a cape while sparring my partner told me it was much harder to predict my kicks. capes rule ;)

    Maybe the cloak/cape makes him invisible? Did the elves get it for him? lol
     Looking forward to seeing the next movie, have the box set and can’t remember how many times I’ve watched it.
