Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace will be re-released in theaters, in 3D, in just a few weeks. Here’s an added incentive to put up with Jar Jar’s antics in order to get to all the cool podracing scenes: Free stuff.

AMC Theaters have just announced that they’ll be hosting a series of exclusive giveaways in their theaters, for Star Wars fans who buy a Phantom Menace 3D ticket on opening weekend. Every person who shows up and buys a Real 3D ticket will get a collectible, Hasbro fighter pod toy and a special pair of 3D glasses designed to look like Anakin’s podracer goggles. They’ll look just like this:

That kid gives good Anni face.

Additionally they’re planning a series of special Star Wars related activities at their theaters during the February 10-12 weekend. Expect to see a Star Wars Lego area, Darth Maul face painting, XBox Star Wars demonstrations, and even special appearances by Star Wars characters.

Here’s a complete list of all the participating AMC theaters…

Atlanta: AMC Southlake 24; Boston: AMC Loews Liberty Tree Mall 20; Chicago: AMC South Barrington 30; Denver: AMC Highlands Ranch 24; Los Angeles: AMC Tustin 14 at The District; AMC Ontario Mills 30; New York: AMC Empire 25; AMC Garden State 16; Phoenix: AMC Mesa Grand 24; San Francisco: AMC Emeryville Bay Street 16

If you’re seeing Star Wars in 3D anyway, might as well make it a point see it at an AMC!
