While the last TV spot for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming robots versus monsters adventure, Pacific Rim, went fishing for monsters, the latest short commercial pisses them the hell off. That’s like poking a bear, something you most likely want to avoid in most situations.

This video released by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, follows the trend of what we’ve already seen thus far. There are a few clips and bits that have already appeared in the various trailers and ads, with just a smidgen of new footage stirred in for good measure, to keep things from getting stale. Seriously though, by the time the movie finally hits on July 12, it feels like we’ll have already seen most of it.

Each spot has its own focus, and this one revolves around the hand-to-hand combat element, as it were, of the film. This isn’t your standard, two-dudes-duking-it-out fisticuffs we’re talking about here. No, this is what happens when giant, dimension-hopping creatures called Kaiju, and Jaegers, massive, sky-scraper-tall robots, collide. It’s like your normal cinematic fight cranked up a couple of dozen notches. There’s going to be some carnage, and more than likely a huge mess to clean up the next day.

In the midst of a losing battle, a washed up pilot (Charlie Hunnam) teams up with an untested rookie (Rinko Kikuchi) to pilot a legendary, but out of date, Jaeger, into a final confrontation for the fate of the species. You know, nothing major.

Pacific Rim also stars Idris Elba, Charlie Day, and Ron Perlman.
