It’s been a long wait, one that seemed damn near insurmountable at times, but we made it, season two of Orphan Black is finally here. We haven’t seen new episodes since June 1 of last year, but starting this Saturday, April 19, we don’t have to satisfy ourselves by re-watching old installments over and over again. It should be a good time, and we’ve got a new TV spot from the UK.

If you’ve been paying attention, and I know there a lot of you who have been keeping tabs over the off-season, this new video doesn’t offer a ton of new information. Let’s just say you’re not going to have your mind blown right here. What this clip does well, however, is catch you up with what happened, and position you where you need to be for the beginning of season two.

At the end of the freshman year, Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) and all of her clones (all played by Maslany), are just starting to unravel the mystery of their origins, to discover who created them, find out where they come from, and who exactly is after them. Every time they think they have an answer, it really only leads to more questions. And not only do they have this larger problem to deal with, each individual member of the clone party has her own drama going on. Allison has a fractured marriage to try to fix, or at least deal with; Cosima has her failing health, as well as a burgeoning, and possibly sinister, relationship with Delphine (Evelyne Brochu); and then Sarah would really, really like to figure out who kidnapped her daughter.

Almost from the moment season one ended, co-creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett started talking about opening up and expanding the world of the season. Given that, we can expect to follow the mysterious sprawling conspiracy out even farther, some supposed enemies will become uneasy allies, and you can be there will even be some friends becoming enemies. Nothing is as it seems, and nothing will stay static for very long.

There will even be new clones this season. We don’t know much about proclone Rachel, who showed up at the tail end of last season, so we’ll get to know her and find out what she’s all about—and you can’t imagine she’ll be up to anything good. There is also Jennifer, a schoolteacher who is slated to join the party. Her exact role is still uncertain. We’ve seen her at various stages battling an illness similar to the respiratory problems Cosima faces. That’s actually how they discover her, Cosima stumbles across a video blog while researching her own condition. It’s possible that she is already dead when we meet her.
