New Rage TV Spot
If you’re like me you spent this evening watching third tier celebrities make fun of Charlie Sheen, and each other, on the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen. You also saw the new TV trailer for id’s Rage that premiered last week. Years in the making, from the guys who helped create the FPS genre, Rage is the most anticipated game of the year that most people don’t seem to be anticipating at all.
I think it says something about me that I’m sitting watching the Sheen roast as my wife laughs and laughs, meanwhile I freak out when I realize the release of id’s next game is only weeks away. Id claims Rage is going to reinvent the first person shooter. Perhaps the claim is a bit lofty, but Todd Hollenshead and his team are the guys who can pull it off.

Rage is set to release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on October, 4 2011.
