We’ve been talking about LEGO Star Wars quite a bit over the last week or so. Not only is there a new episode of Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles, “Escape From the Jedi Temple”—the first of four fresh chapters—set to premiere tomorrow, but during the airing Disney XD will unveil a new trailer for upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels. Yesterday we saw a clip from the episode, and for those of you who just can’t wait until tomorrow to see more, you’re in luck, because we have another new selected piece of the show.

USA Today debuted this longish clip that, in traditional LEGO Star Wars style, takes a humorous approach to the material, while still maintaining the larger integrity of the universe. After all, everything new is now official canon as far as Lucasfilm and Disney are concerned. You’ll be hard pressed not to laugh your ass off as Obi-Wan Kenobi runs from a posse of easily-startled sand people, screaming, “They’re back, and in greater numbers,” or when the clip takes a moment to mock Yoda’s convoluted speech patterns and the miscommunications it can lead to.

In this clip, Luke Skywalker is still young in the ways of the Jedi, so Yoda, in his exile on Dagobah, along with Obi-Wan’s force ghost, comes to the conclusion that he needs a great deal more training, especially if he’s going to have to face off against Darth Vader and company. In order to really, truly, get this done they’re going to need to use the Jedi Holocrons—the organic crystals that hold the whole of Jedi history and that were almost lost after Order 66 nearly wiped the once-great order from the face of the galaxy.

The New Yoda Chronicles originally began life as a web series, but when LEGO Star Wars became popular enough, Cartoon Network picked it up for air. Because it’s aimed at a younger audience, the producers know that some members of the audience might not be up on the entire saga. When Obi-Wan and Yoda flashback to their earlier adventure stealing the Holocrons, it provides an opportunity to basically recap the entire franchise in a handy-dandy bite-sized nugget—the Empire seized power, Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader, he doesn’t know about his secret set of twins, you hit all the important points.

“Escape From the Jedi Temple” airs Sunday, May 4th at 7 pm Eastern and Pacific on Disney XD.
