Star Trek Goes Fetish With Latex Uniforms
Believe it or not there’s actually a lot of crossover between nerd culture and the fetish community. That probably means this new product is going to be a huge hit.
One geek-savvy fetish designer has produced a line of latex Star Trek uniforms and, depending on who’s wearing them of course, they look fabulous. Check them out…

These sweaty on the inside, sexy on the outside outfits are the work of Poison Candy Latex, who recently debuted their line at the Montreal Comic Con. No word yet on where you can actually buy any of these designs, but it seems like their sale is inevitable.
I only have two complains here. First, the latex doesn’t come with someone appropriately proportioned to wear it. That’s a problem because, let’s face it… how many people actually look good in latex? Now cut that number in half and apply it to Trekkers. If you’re going to sell these uniforms they need to come with someone to wear them. Someone who looks like this…

The other issue here is that the uniforms only come in one color. The outfits are a mix of Star Trek: The Next Generation where red stands for command, and the skirt is an homage to TOS where red was used for engineering and support crew. Where’s science blue? TOS command gold? How can I run a starship without someone to play doctor? Bad enough to beam down to a planet wearing red, I’m pretty sure the doomed redshirt rule goes double for red-shirted security officers wearing nothing but latex.
