Hey, Star Trek fans, especially those of you with a penchant for collecting cool pieces of memorabilia, it might be time to start drooling. Diamond Select Toys has just shipped out one of their most hotly anticipated new toys, a replica of the Klingon Bird of Prey.

BirdofPreyShip

This model is based on the unnamed, experimental prototype Bird of Prey from 1991’s Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, the one commanded by General Chang (the venerable, and Oscar-winning badass, Christopher Plummer). You remember the one, the ship has the capability to fire while still remaining cloaked, thus presenting a difficult conundrum to anyone who comes into conflict with the vessel. It’s hard to fight what you can’t see.

This whole package looks pretty damn awesome. The statue measures more than a foot long, with an 18-inch wingspan. Great attention to detail really brings the whole thing together, and the intricately textured and painted exteriors are top notch. With the iconic stand, this piece will be a wonderful addition to your ever-increasing assembly of toys and trinkets. Hell, clear off some mantel space, you may have even found a new main attraction.

Not only does this look good, there are all sorts of fun extras to keep you entertained. Both the engines and weapons light up, and the wings adjust up and down. The Bird of Prey also comes with a set of lines taken directly from the movie—and voiced by Plummer—for you to geek out over.

Check your favorite online retailer, or look for this at a toy store near you.
