While the summer of 2015 is packed full of big franchise movies such as The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Terminator 5, and Man of Steel: Batman vs. Superman, the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park film series could be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. There hasn’t been a new Jurassic Park movie since Joe Johnston directed Jurassic Park III in 2001, so whatever director Colin Trevorrow has cooking up for Jurassic World, it’s sure to be a monster of a movie. Production on Jurassic World has yet to start, but now we’ve got a first glimpse of what the film might look like…sort of.

Enter Next Media Animation. They are the same Taiwanese Animators who famously covered Tiger Woods’ extramarital affair, the JetBlue flight attendant incident, and participated in a video “feud” with Conan O’Brien. Next Media Animation also make animated movie trailers for popular upcoming blockbusters like Jurassic World in anticipation of the real deal. The Taiwan-based animation studio used online rumors and speculation to flesh out the stories for their wacky trailers.

The trailer is hilarious! It sets the action at the original location of the first Jurassic Park movie, Site A on Isla Nublar, only this time it’s a fully operational theme park and resort, bustling with guests. We know this location is accurate based on Colin Trevorrow’s tweets about the new film’s location.

We also see that park attendants feed the dinosaurs adorable panda bears. Meanwhile, one scientist sneaks off into a secret laboratory where scientists and engineers grow human/dinosaur hybrids. This was a rumor that went around very early in Jurassic Park IV‘s script development. The trailer also follows hordes of dinosaurs escaping from their cages to run amok, killing and injuring numerous park guests.

Instead of a zoo-like theme park, rumors suggest that the park will be akin to SeaWorld, and that Jurassic World will feature a new aquatic dinosaur that breaks free and starts causing trouble. Hopefully the real movie will be a little less silly than the animated trailer from Next Media.

Meanwhile, back in the real Jurassic World production, actor Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) is currently in final negotiations to play the lead. If cast in the film, Pratt would join Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, and Nick Robinson as the patriarch of the film’s central family. While plot details are scarce, director Colin Trevorrow insists that Jurassic World is not a reboot, but rather a continuation of what came before. Just as in real time, Jurassic World will take place some 20 years after the events of the original Jurassic Park movie.

Trevorrow co-wrote the screenplay with his writing partner, Derek Connolly (Safety Not Guaranteed), taking over work on Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver’s (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) original screenplay. Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg will continue to produce after Kathleen Kennedy dropped out to focus her attention on Star Wars: Episode VII for Disney and Lucasfilm.

Jurassic World hits theaters everywhere on June 12, 2015, in 3D and IMAX. You can check out other fake trailers from Next Media Animation below.
